Tessa Kim is a New York based actor and writer. Much to the dismay of her parents she abandoned her medical studies in Germany and moved to New York. She received her BA in Theatre Arts at Empire State College, SUNY and her MFA at the Actors Studio at the New School. She’s performed in many off-Broadway theatre productions and independent films. She has produced a short film and her many voiceovers include video games and a meditation CD for pet owners. She’s played a Nazi in Robert de Niro’s The Good Shepherd and a lesbian corpse on Law and Order. She’s thrilled to perform her first solo show in the FringeNYC Festival.
Sarah Elizabeth Wansley is a New York-based director. She received her MFA in Directing from UCSD under acclaimed Romanian director Gabor Tompa and a BA in English Lit from Columbia University (summa cum laude). At UCSD she radically re-imagined Seamus Heaney’s The Burial at Thebes and Brecht’s Drums in the Night, developed site-specific work for La Jolla Playhouse’s WoW festival and directed for UCSD’s Wagner New Play Festival. In New York, Sarah has directed at EST / Youngblood, The Flea Theater and the NY Fringe. She is the founding Artistic Director of Aporia Theater, with whom she directed Patrick Barrett’s Follow Me Down and her own translation of Büchner’s Woyzeck. Lincoln Center Directors Lab member (2011), Drama League Directing Fellow (2015).
Danielle is currently producing Lori Fischer’s Greener Pastures, Listen…Can You Hear Me Now?, and Rise of the Usher (Midtown International Theatre Festival 2015). She is general managing Land of Broken Toys, Lucky Chick, Shake the Earth, My Ass(in the World), The Bad German, and Verano Place at FringeNYC 2015. Her prior FringeNYC credits include Mother, Finding Elizabeth Taylor, The Adventures of Swamp Girl, and The Fiery Sword of Justice. She created and produced the 1st-annual “Columbia University Songbook” concert at 54 Below. She was the Producer of LA-Based show, Smoke and Mirrors as well as the Line Producer of the Fordham University/Primary Stages MFA productions of Opening Night, Horse Girls, Fit for a King, All the People You’ve Been, Nina, and Bishop. Danielle serves as the Fundraising and Events Co-Chair for Theatre Resources Unlimited’s YPAC. Alexander Rovang (Music Director) A graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory, “Xander” is a New York City based Music Director, conductor and pianist, and has had the incredible luck to work internationally in musical theatre, opera, and dance. Recent credits include the Chinese Tour of Fame, ZORRO! by the Gipsy Kings, and Monkey: Journey to the West at the Spoleto Festival (USA). Other credits include the National Tours of Rock of Ages and Cabaret; Prison Dancer and Things as They Are for the New York Music Theatre Festival (NYMF); and John Mercurio’s award winning Academy at the Daegu Int’l Music Festival in South Korea. Alexander also serves as an audition accompanist for several major New York Casting Directors including Telsey & Co, Tara Rubin and Jim Carnahan.
